Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2026-02-12

Hi everyone I hope you all are doing well.

Nautilus Gallant Lady at anchor at Honeymoon beach on the Northwest side of Danzante Island, over 100 ft of water and 3 shots of chain. Anchor was dropped at 0545hs. Yesterday we heave anchor at Cantamar Marina and headed to Espiritu Santo Island in order to meet the Cozumel Express vessel to pick up our guests.

At 1830hs with guests onboard we did the welcome, safety and captain briefing, crew and guest introduced themselves and conducted a life-jacket drill. Guests enjoyed dinner on board on the way to Danzante Island. Weather and seas conditions where perfect for navigation and a well deserve night of rest.

Today’s morning at 0900hs Sea-Land panga picked up our guests for whale watching, they spotted about 6 Blue Whales and 8 Humpback Whales, highlights were a Humpback breaching several times and doing a show for our guests, and a very curious Blue Whale that surface at 5 ft approx from the Panga. It was a great morning!!!

Guests are back onboard, thrilled by such amazing experience.

After lunch we are planning to enjoy a beach day in Honey Moon Beach, do some hiking and beach activities. The Cheese and Wine will be on board at 1730hs to enjoy the sunset.

We are planning to overnight on the hook in this same location, and depart tomorrow early in the mooring to San Francisco Island.

Guests and crew are doing well.
