Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2026-02-17

Weather: good weather conditions inside the bay, wind W 8-10 kts sea state W 1 ft, air temp. 23 Celsius. sometimes sunny and sometimes cloudy (clouds 4/8 St and CiSt), There is a lot of ash in the air.

NEX at anchor with 2 shots out depth 55 ft. in El Cañon

The first dive (check dive) was good, conditions into the water visibility 10-12 mtrs, temp. 25 Celsius, our guest saw, some dolphins just passing by, skips jacks, a lot of reef fish.

The second dive was good but regular visibility 8-10 mtrs. Temp. 25 Celsius, our guests saw some hammerheads, white tips, silver tips, Galapagos.

Today after dinner, we will head to Cabo Pearce.

We’re bringing a group where most are from Asia and with a good attitude, plus almost all of them are visiting Revillagigedo for the first time.
