Yesterday we picked up our guests at Espiritu Santo Island, right at the boarding time we spotted a humpback whale, and the guests enjoyed a close encounter with it even before boarding the NGL. What a greats way to start!

With guests on board, we did the welcome, safety and captain briefing, crew and guests introduced themselves and conducted a life-jacket drill. Guests enjoyed dinner on the way to Danzante.

Today’s morning at 0900hs Sea-Land panga picked up our guests for whale watching, they spotted about 4 Blue Whales, and a humpback whale, the highlights were a Blue Whale showing its fluke several times and the humpback whale breaching several times, both of them did a great show for our guests.

It was a good morning, but there was some noticeable swell. Guest are back onboard, happy by such beautiful experience.

After lunch we are planning to enjoy a beach day in Honey Moon Beach, do some hiking, beach activities and the Cheese and Wine at 1730hs to enjoy the sunset.

We are planning to overnight on the hook in this same location, and depart tomorrow early in the morning to San Francisco Island looking for more whales and marine life on the way.

Thanks to the humpback whale encounter at the boarding time, which changed everyone’s mood, we started with the right foot indeed.
