Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2026-02-18

Weather: Totally cloudy day, winds from the NNW 14-16 kts with gusts of 18 kts, sea is calm at anchor. 

At anchor in El Fondeadero with 2 shots out.

Check out dive was fantastic, they could see some hammerheads, Galapagos and white tip sharks, also they saw dolphins and one manta, some octopuses too. Water temperature 25°c, visibility 30 m, strong current to the south.

Second dive was wonderful too, they could see mantas, more hammerheads, Galapagos and more white tips sharks again. Water temperature 25°c, visibility 30 m, current to the south.

Tomorrow’s plan is to do 2 more dives in El Canon and then two more in lava flow.
