Today we are at anchor at Punta Tosca on the west side of Socorro Island. We move the NBA last night after dinner from Cabo Pearce. Day today has been a bit windy and the diving today has been quiet, but there are 2 humpback whales, a mother and her calf, swimming around and between us and the private yacht seahawk.

The first dive today on the lava fingers was quiet, nice topography, they saw reef fishes, some octopus and moray eels. Viz was 12-15 mts and there was no current.

Second dive was better, some hammerheads showed up as well as a couple of mantas, one group saw a single hammerhead and one manta at the end of the dive and for other group they had a manta for a few minutes circling around and they saw a small school of 6 hammerheads. Viz got a bit better 15 mts and there was no current.

We will do one more dive here and then we will go to navy base for check in. After that we will make our way to San Benedicto to dive there tomorrow.

Yesterday at Cabo Pearce had good afternoon dives, with mantas and hammerheads, all guests were happy for their first day.
