Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-02-22

Weather: At The Boiler San Benedicto Island, Clear sky, Wind 6-10 kts from North. Seas 3-6 ft, air temp 23°C. Water temp 25C

Today we are at anchor at the Boiler on 115 ft depth and 2 shots out. We arrived this morning to the Boiler from the Canyon. It was choppy and a bit windy when we arrived but it has been decreasing through the day.

The dives have been amazing today, Mantas everywhere. The water is clear, great viz 25+ mts and no current.

First dive was like 4-6 mantas and hammerheads. At the end of the dive a small pod of dolphins arrived to swim close to the last 2 group of divers. They were super happy.

Second dive was much better, there were dolphins and a manta show, 9 different mantas at the same time swimming around playing and giving a show to our divers, there were some hammerheads as well but everyone was focused on the mantas.

Water conditions are great, temp ins 25C, viz 25+ mts and no current. We will do the third dive here and then for the last dive we will move the boat near El Fondeadero to do the CONAMP exploratory dive site ¨Tres Hermanos¨ and after dinner we will make our way to Roca Partida.

Yesterday at the Canyon both afternoon dives were great, full of sharks, the third was insane as there was a huge school of hammerheads.
