Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-02-24

Weather: At Roca Partida, Clear Sky, Calm winds, very light breeze from North. Seas 2-3 ft long swell, air temp 25°C. Water temp 24°C.

Today we are at anchor at Roca Partida on 240 ft depth and 4 shots out with port anchor. What a beautiful day at Roca, nice weather, sunny day, very light breeze and almost flat seas, and the best thing is that we had the rock just for us.

Great dives today, despite the current as it has been mid-strong current from NW to SE. Dives are much better than yesterday, viz is much better 20-25 mts and the animals, dolphins have been all around the rock the whole morning.

Divers could see them from surface and underwater, lots of reef white tip sharks, silvertips and Galapagos sharks, like 8-9 mantas at once swimming and playing, schools of yellowfin tunas, big eye jacks, black jacks and other many reef fishes.

There was a big school of bonitos and silky sharks swimming between them. Some divers saw also a couple of mobulas. Guests are happy. We are planning to do 2 more dives and then we will depart to San Benedicto after dinner for our last dive day.
