We arrived this morning to San Benedicto and dropped anchor at El Fondeadero to do the check dive there today.
We did the check dive, divers jumped from the dive platform, they did the weight check and started diving.
Check dive was good, there was a light current to the East, Viz was 20 mts and water temp 24-25C. Some divers saw like 5 hammerheads, reef whitetips, one manta, lobsters and reef fishes. It was a nice check out dive.
Second dive was in the Canyon, great dive, hammerheads everywhere, like 80 of them. Galapagos sharks, silkies, reef whitetips, and some silvertips. Some divers saw octopus and 1 manta. Everyone had a great dive and enjoyed the dives.
On third dive current changed now from NE to SW. We will do 2 more dives this afternoon and will end the day with a taco night on the sun deck. After dinner we will go to Socorro to dive Punta Tosca tomorrow.
