Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-03-02

Weather: At Punta Tosca Socorro Island, Clear sky. Calm winds and calm seas, 2-3 ft long swell coming from the NW. Air temp 24°C.

We just dropped anchor at Punta Tosca and we are about to do our 3rd dive of the day. We arrived to Socorro this morning to Roca Oneal and we did 2 morning dives there.

First dive there was a light Current to the East, Viz was good in some areas and low in other areas. Some groups saw one manta a few hammerheads and some dolphins, other group just saw one manta. Dive was good, a beautiful topography. Water temp was 24C.

Second dive viz got better 15-18 mts. One group saw 2 mantas, others one manta and hammerheads, many reef fishes, one flounder fish and one octopus. Current changed on this dive from North but very light.

After finishing the second dive we picked up anchor and moved to Punta Tosca. We will do one dive here and after that we will go to navy base for check in and then will move to Cabo Pearce to dive there tomorrow.
