Captain’s Noon Reports – Explorer – 2026-03-02

Weather: We have good weather now wind blowing S 6-8 kts, sea state S 1-2 ft. sunny day, air temp. 24 C but this morning the wind was blowing from N.

NEX in Cabo Pearce at anchor with three shoots out,

The first dive was good, conditions into the water visibility 22-24 mtrs, temp. 25 Celsius, our guests saw dolphins, they saw them swimming very fast as they were eating on a bait ball, two mantas, hammerhead and one group was lucky to see a humpback whale with his babe, a lot of bonitos, a lot of reef fish, but all guests have seen whale humpback jumping near the ship.

The second dive was good again, condition into the water, visibility a little much better 28-30 mtrs, temp 25 Celsius, our guests saw dolphins again, two mantas very friendly, hammerheads, Galapagos, bonitos and many reef fish,

Yesterday our last dives in Punta Tosca were good (good visibility 16-18 mtrs) our guests saw two mantas, one hammerhead.

Yesterday we passed the naval inspection without any problems.
