Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2026-03-09

Weather: Totally cloudy sky, NW wind 10 kts, NW long period swell 4-6 ft.

NUS at anchor in Roca Partida, anchor resting on 240 ft of water with 4.5 shots out. We arrived in the early morning with some rain, an amazing sunrise, and very calm seas.

First dive was great, they saw mantas, white tip sharks, dolphins, a big school of bonitos, it was really great. Conditions were; water temp 24°C, viz 30 mts, current to the W.

Second dive was great too, more mantas, more sharks and dolphins. Conditions were; water temp 24°C, viz 30 mts, current to de SW.

Yesterday they did two more dives at the Boiler and it was great, had a very delicious taco night and sail to Roca Partida. We have two more dives here in Roca and sail on the night to Socorro Punta Tosca.

Tomorrow plan is dive two times in Punta Tosca then the explorative site Bajo Grayson and Navy inspection.
