Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2026-03-11

Nautilus Gallant Lady at Agua Verde. Yesterday afternoon we picked up our guests at Espiritu Santo. The dinner, the welcome, safety and captain briefing, the introduction of crew and guests and the life-jacket drill was done under way to Agua Verde.

Weather is not on our side, last night at 2000hs the port closed for vessels under 500 gt due north winds affecting the area. At 0430hs this morning we dropped anchor at a sheltered bay in Agua Verde.

We are using the Skiff to bring guests to the beach to enjoy the day, play with the kayaks, do snorkeling and walk the pristine beaches, we are also offering whale watching runs with the Skiff, there has not been a sight yet.

Even though it is not a good for whale watching guests are having fun. In the afternoon we will continue offering activities, presentations, and the cheese and wine. We will stay overnight over here on the hook.

Weather prediction shows a drop in the winds over the night, and way better weather conditions for tomorrow. We are planning to heave anchor early in morning to look for whales and other marine life.
