Captain’s Noon Reports – Belle Amie – 2026-03-17

Weather: Clear sky with no whites around, light E winds from 3-6 kts, and 1-3 long SE swell. Air temperature 24°C. Water temperature 24°C. No current in the dive site, vis around 10-15 mts, no boats sharing the dive site with us

Good day everyone! NBA reporting from South side of San Benedicto Island “El Cañon” at anchor with 1.5 shots in the water from portside anchor, over 55 ft depth.

Our arrival at the island was this morning at 0600 hrs and we started our dive operation at 0700 hrs, during the checkout dive our divers had a great performance all of them have been feeling comfortable underwater, equipment, buoyancy, timing and air consumption, they could saw a couple of white tips and some reef fish at Fondeadero.

During the second dive we enjoyed the presence of Hammerheads, silkies, Galapagos, a couple of playful mantas, white tips and silver tips around the dive site.

After finishing with the 4th dive, we will move the boat to Boiler for our diving day tomorrow. We will have our taco night tonight on the sundeck so the guest can enjoy a nice Mexican dinner under the stars.
