NEX at anchor in Roca Partida, at 241 ft, 4.5 shots out. Hello everyone,
Yesterday, Roca Partida continued to amaze us. The sheer number of mantas was incredible, and their interaction with the divers was breathtaking. They seemed to be playing with the bubbles, landing on them and then dropping down it was beautiful. Sharks also started appearing on the last dive. Without a doubt, everyone returned to the ship very happy yesterday.
Today was no exception. The visibility is tremendous, and there’s an abundance of marine life. We saw approximately seven mantas, a large school of bonito, the usual number of reef fish around the rock, plus a very curious turtle that kept approaching the divers. There was also a huge pod of dolphins appearing everywhere, and many whitetip and silvertip sharks.
We have two more dives planned for this afternoon before beginning our journey to Socorro.
Crew and guests doing fine.
