Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2026-03-18

Beautiful day, clear sky and sunny day, NW wind 3-4 kts, 1 ft seas, air temperature 24C.

NGL starting the day with all the energy, we were able to find a humpback whale on the Agua Verde area and going southbound, guests were allowed to see for a 1 hour, then they all go to breakfast.

After breakfast they came up to look for more whales and we never lose the path of the humpback so they were able to see it again, then the plane came and spot a huge pod of common dolphins and some blue whales near Catalina Island, we went for them, they were very shy and evasive but guests could have some good views of the whales.

Right now, they are with some fin whales and almost ready to come back for lunch. Then we will head south to San Francisquito to do some beach activities.
