Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2026-03-20

Weather: Sunny day, clear sky, Hot, Air temp 32C, Calm winds and calm seas, beautiful day. 

We are currently searching for whales south of Monserrat and Santa Catalina Islands,

This morning we arrive to Agua Verde area and started searching on NGL. We went to San Cosme area being off the limits of Loreto Park. water is like mirror, super calm water making the search easier.

We saw a lot of mobulas breaching and swimming at the surface, Different kind of birds, a single sea lion that passed close by the boat and a pod of dolphins, actually we saw few different pods of dolphins but I think we saw the same twice.

We took guests on RHIB and started searching south of Agua Verde, they saw dolphins and some sea turtles. Guests are having lunch right now.

This afternoon we will take guests to the beach in Agua Verde for snorkelling and kayaking. We will have cheese and wine as well after the activities. We will spend the night at anchor. Next morning we will start to make our way south bound.

Yesterday when guests boarded, we did welcome and safety briefing, played safety video and did life jacket drill. After that, guests went to take a shower to be ready for dinner. After dinner we departed from Espiritu Santo, we had a nice and smooth ride.
