Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2026-04-02

NGL at Bahia de Los Muertos on the way to la Reyna looking for marine life.

Yesterday was a great day of whale watching. Mother nature provided us about 10 humpback whales and bottle-nose dolphins. Our anchoring spot was Ensenada de Los Muertos, where our guests had fun with the Kayaks and Paddle-boards, then they enjoy cocktails and appetizer at the beach with a beautiful sunset and moon rise.

After dinner we overnight on the hook on the same location.

Today’s morning our guests got to have close encounter with bottle-nose and common dolphins from the RHIB. Some of our guests were lucky enough to see them under water. We also spotted sea-lions, several humpback whales and some scatter jumping mobulas.

The plan for this afternoon is to look for more marine life on the east side of Cerralvo island and snorkel at La Reyna. We will anchor on the East side of Espiritu Santo Island as tonight we have westerly winds on the high teens.
