Captain’s Noon Reports – Gallant Lady – 2026-04-17

NGL at Ensenada de Los Muertos.

Yesterday afternoon turned out to be a great one. Guests got to snorkel with hundreds of mobulas. It was definitely one of the highlights of the week.

Then we had the wine and cheese on board. It was too late to do it at the beach and guests chose mobulas over beach time.

Today morning was very windy, it was not forecast to be that windy that early but we got to bring guests to the beach to enjoy it. Wind is dropping, which is the opposite to what was forecast, it seems all weather predictions were quite off today.

Guests are in safari as much as weather allows it. It is predicted that wind will pick up in the afternoon, apparently even more than in the morning. Tonight, we will sail back to Cantamar Marina in a good weather window.
