NGL at La Ventana.
Yesterday afternoon, after lunch, we conducted the checkout dive at El Saltito. Then we continued with Safari on the RHIB heading south; guests spotted scattered jumping Mobulas and 2 loggerhead turtles. At nighttime, we dropped lights to attract Mobulas, but we just got 3.
Today, early in the morning, after breakfast, we had a presentation on board while waiting for the Panga. The guests departed at 9 a.m with Armando Osuna in his Panga, with one of our guides, water, sodas, fruits, and snacks. They spotted blue whales, humpback whales, a bryde whale, and snorkeled with dolphins.
Everyone is back on board, having lunch, and thrilled by such an amazing morning. After a well-deserved break for our guests, we will do beach activities. Tonight, we will try to get more Mobulas to snorkel with.
