Captain’s Noon Reports – Under Sea – 2026-04-20

Weather: Partly sunny sky, NW 10-12 kts winds, NW 3-4 ft seas, Air temp 23C, Water temp 24C. Viz 25+ mts

At anchor at Roca Partida on 240 ft of water with 4 shots out. We arrived this morning to the rock, Rocio del Mar was already here, so we are second on the line.

We have had amazing dives this morning with at least 5 mantas, dolphins, reef white tip sharks, silvertips and some silkies, a school of yellowfin tunas, there were a couple huge tunas.

Both dives have been amazing, with very light current from NW to SE and great viz 25+ mts. All divers are super happy and enjoying the dives. We will do 2 more dives here and we will depart to Cabo Pearce tonight after dinner.

Yesterday at the Canyon we had great dives as well, viz got better in the afternoon and the sharks were all around, hammerheads, silvertips, Galapagos and silkies. Everyone enjoyed the dives.

We ended the day with taco night and after that we departed to Roca Partida.
