NGL on the way to Espiritu Santo Island on Safari.

Yesterday afternoon we spot 2 humpback whales at the South entrance of San Jose channel, and late in the afternoon our guests snorkelled with Mobulas on the South of San Jose Island – El Pardito area.

So far has been the best snorkel with Mobulas, there was several large schools in the area, allowing our guests to be right in the middle of them. It was incredible!!! after a fantastic snorkel we had the Cheese and Wine on board as it was already too late to do it at the beach.

To finish the day we had a presentation on humpback whales by Capt. Mateo.

Today morning as guests requested to go back for the Mobulas, we stayed in the same area, and snorkeled and dove El Pardito. They enjoyed curious sea-lions, large schools of fish, jaw-fishes, and starfish. Light current from east to west, and 50 ft of visibility.

Out of San Jose Island we spotted 3 humpback whales, scatter jumping Mobulas and a turtle resting at the surface. Currently we are in the north of Espiritu Santo Island on Safari.

We are planning to Safari Espiritu Santo in the RHIB and hopefully snorkel with Mobulas late in the afternoon.
