On the way out on our second dive today we are escorted by several bottlenose dolphins. They are waiting for us as we drop in, wanting to play. One hovers vertically in the water posing for photos and almost begging to be petted and stroked. Right below the dolphins is a large black manta circling and passing through the group. For the entire dive the dolphins hang with the group and the manta never leaves the circle of visibility. While all the diving on the trip has been amazing; hammerheads, silvertips, galapagos and piles of whitetip sharks at Roca Partida, and other manta and dolphin encounters at Cabo Pearce; this dive at Punta Tosca was pure magic. The feeling of diving with wild animals that seek out and welcome human interaction like this is hard to describe. It rocked.

Und wer dachte, dass der Tauchgang mit Mantas, Delfinen und Hammerhai gestern nicht mehr uebertroffen werden konnte, hat sich maechtig getaeuscht. Der zweite Tauchgang des heutigen Tages war wohl das beste, was ich als Taucher bisher erlebt habe: Dancing with the dolphins!!! Die Magie des Momentes, des unmittelbaren Kontaktes und der Interaktion mit wildlebenden Delfinen und Mantas ist schwer zu beschreiben! Ich glaube den Rest des Trips werde ich nicht mehr ins Wasser gehen, besser werden kann es kaum…

La plus belle plongee de notre vie: nager avec des dauphins et des raies mantas pendant 45 MN. que rever de plus!!! Difficile de trouver mieux dorenavant!!!!
