Can't Believe how Friendly the Giant Manta's were – Guest Blog – Socorro Island – November 30, 2010

The wonderful underwater world of Soccoro Island is a true treasure and can only be best experienced by a dive operation that is not only prepared but outfitted with the tools as well as the skills to present it. The Nautilus Explorer is just that operation. To a person, the staff is on top of every detail. From the competent Captain, Gordon, to the chef, Juan Carlos, to the lovely girls Claire and Christine with drinks and snacks, you have a crew that is second to none! When you have divemasters like Jesse & Peter and mates as experienced as Joel, Brian, Dave you have a well run open water machine that attends to every detail. I cannot recommend a better opportunity to explore the underwater world of these islands, than with the Nautilus Explorer!! ….Mark “The Mighty Tejas” Gustin

I can’t believe how friendly the giant manta’s are at Punta Tosca. It seems they are waiting for us when we start our dive. They go to each diver and check them out. Friendly dolphins and mantas in one dive. What a great experience! Truly enjoying the diving and great service from the crew of the Nautilus explorer.
