Yesterday afternoon after our third dive we did our navy check-in at Socorro Island, no issues.
Headed back to Cabo Pearce to have dinner then we departed for San Benedicto.
Arrived at the Canyon around 0030 and anchored for the night.
This morning started with a great dive at the Canyon. Big school of hammerhead sharks coming into the cleaning station, swimming close around everyone for the whole dive. Also had a couple of giant mantas vying for attention.
Second dive at the Canyon was a little more quiet so we are just in the process of anchoring at the Boiler now. Conditions look good up here and planning two dives here this afternoon.
Wx today is beautiful again, light wind from the north, sunny, swell is a long 5′ from the WNW.
Planning to try a dawn dive at the Boiler tomorrow to have a look for thresher sharks.
All ok onboard.
