So ends my final Guadalupe trip after spending 2 action packed months out here at Guadalupe Island. From the large number of young male great white sharks circling us in August to the large matured females we’ve been seeing the last couple weeks I can honestly say this year has topped the 2014 season. The huge amount of Yellow tail jacks and yellow fin tuna around our cages has been amazing. This trip had a roughly 16 foot long female great white shark circle our submersible cages for the afternoon. After the cages stopped going down at 1700 it got quiet, but she came back and made for a mad rush for our guests to get back in the surface cages late in to the day. All crew and guests will remember her coming a little too close one point. It doesnt get much better then seeing these sharks out at their island. Solid season, definetly have a few photos and stories to take back to British Columbia tomorrow.
