Punta Tosca is windy. It’s howling, and more than forecast, which has me concerned about Roca’s forecast tomorrow..
Last nights trip down was exciting, with an 8 second wave period, but we waited until dinner was done, and the guests had mostly gone to their cabins.
Yesterday was intense, with the late arrival, the 20+ knot winds coming over the lava flow, and the 20′ visibility. At least guests saw Mantas and Hammerheads. First two dives today the vis is 80′, and the dive site pristine, just no big animals (and here I was going on and on about how hot Socorro has been..). Hoping the third dive proves better..
