Today on the west point of Socorro we got in 4 dives at Punta Toseca. Its the site that provides the closest comparison to the Caribbean diving that you’ll find here on these Pacific islands. From sheltered sand bays to sheer walls off the main lava flow fingers it provides a bit of it all for topography. Giant Pacific mantas both Black and Chevron gliding by the cleaning stations on this site make for great shots in the blue waters with usually 80ft vis. Today we faced little current, but did have some fairly strong surge rolling over the topography. Just a part of it though if you want to dive with the giants.
