It was a tough call but we decided to give up our second day at Roca Partida and steamed overnight to Cabo Pearce. The wx was just not cooperating and all forecast options showed a stiffening wind and shortening wave period, so in the end I knew when to fold ’em.
First two dives at Cabo Pearce were OK, first was ripping N current and rough surface conditions but second dive the chop laid down and current switched to S moderate and mantas were had by all. Looking forward to the next two dives here. Conditions moderate N 15-18kts with low ground swell, light overcast.
