Today was another eventful day in Revillagigedo Archipelago. I was taking the Black Manta Dive Group on a dive, all experienced divers even a few instructors and we jumped into the Boiler with a medium strong current. The first 10 minutes of the dive were quite relaxed and then the action started. The mantas and dolphins had realized that we were there and came to play. Some passing just inches from our masks and camera lenses!!
After a hearty breakfast we sailed to The Canyon, our second dive site on Benedicto Island and got lucky again. Just of the edge of the dive site we were enjoying the company of two Silvertip Sharks as a group of 6 Hammerheads passed a few meters from us making the Silvertips look so tiny compared to their impressive size! To end the dive day we had a photoshoot under the Explorer with a bunch of Silkies that were cruising amongst some Travellies!
As we are lifting anchor to head to Socorro during the night, everyone is very excited to explore a new island tomorrow! Good night from Nautilus Explorer!
