Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2018-03-21

Beautiful morning at San Ben. Two dives at Canyon. First dive had a hammerhead, whitetips, some dolphins, which was a pleasant surprise, and 6 silkies right under the boat. Second dive had a manta and a few silver tips. Moved to Boiler. Current was ripping North. A solitary dolphin really excited the guests in the current. Stayed with the group for awhile coming in close. Had two mantas that other divers were able to see.  I took the guests out in the dinghy for a tour of the rocks. Fourth dive had more current. A manta came in on the end with some Galapagos out in the current. Big school of jacks all around the Boiler in the current.

Current – mild to medium at Canyon / Boiler – Very Strong North.
