Captain’s Noon Report- Explorer – 2018-06-02

Location:Roca Partidat Winds NNE 5 – 10 Swell NE 4-6
Weather:Vis 100′ Water Temp 74-76

Last dive at Cabo Pearce was excellent. 4 to 5 different mantas and dolphins. It had been a little slow but the afternoon dive brought everyone back to life, some guests wanted to take pictures of the silky sharks that always loom under the boat. The guests got some great shot of the silkies and a manta that kept under the boat the entire dive. Our silky snorkel after dinner was packed with 8 – 10 sharks swimming in and out of the boat’s lights. Guests had a great time. We are at Roca today and the current is very light. We have had some sharks in the area but we are waiting for the current to pick up so the sharking will intensify. Galapagos, silver tips and white tips in the balconies. Big schools of tuna and jacks.
