Yesterday we were on our way to Ildefonso island, Tortuga was our route so we decided to stop for just one dive as the boat was making good time. The dive resulted to be the best of the week, guests were able to see 45 plus feet, water was 76F and they saw tons of turtles, and Mobulas rays by the dozens. They were feeding so they stayed close to where the divers were, there also saw a huge school of groupers feeding. The bottom was filled with many garden eels, of course the highlight of the dive was the whale shark some of the divers saw on their safety stop. So we decided right there to stay here for the remaining of the trip. So we squeeze two more dives in yesterday and stayed for today’s dives. We did taco night last night and all the guests loved it. Today the dives like yesterday were loaded with fish, Mobulas and turtles! One of the guests said he saw a total of 25 turtles!
