Captains Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-08-23

Weather: 72F, visibility 100Ft

The diving have been phenomenal! I have no words to describe the kind of action we had this morning or yesterday afternoon. To start with I saw 8 great white sharks in a single glimpse, that is the most sharks I have ever seen at the same time. Divers did not want to go down to the submersible cages as the surface cages were delivering pure adrenaline. The battle between wranglers and sharks was so intense and the wranglers were loosing it, truly incredible! Down in the submersibles we had a similar story as the sharks kept coming close to the cages. Sad Face, Luca Arnone, Andy, and others were a bit interested in the cages and divers, they would make passes eye balling you and closing in in every loop. Just few minutes ago as I was wrangling, a guest close by me asked if we have ever seen a great white going after a seal. Just as I answered that I had not, a shark breached half way out of the water with a seal in its mouth!! Every single person on the dive platform stopped talking and two seconds later we all started to cheer and yell, this is something you would only see it on NAT GEO… or maybe not we just saw it here! guests are going crazy and sharks are putting on an incredible show!
