Last night was one of the nights that reminds me why I like being a sailor. It was clear night sky with all the stars and planets shining bright, calm seas and a light breeze made by the speed of the boat. After dinner guests enjoyed that view from the sundeck. Arrived this morning to Guadalupe at 0600 hrs, after we dropped anchor, we started deploying cages in the water. By 0700 am we had the cages open for guests. First diver came in to the cages by 0730 and one shark was already here to give the welcome. It has been a pretty active morning full of sharks and divers going up and down in the cages. At least 12 different sharks have been seen this morning. I was wrangling and I could see from the wrangling platform 7 different sharks at the same time. There was one occasion where 4 different sharks came to the bait from different directions, like a crossroads. Guests are so excited and happy for this chance that they have of seeing these amazing creatures. Sharks are being very fast, and we had lost a few pieces of tuna. Among all the sharks that we have seen today, there are some that we could identify just by looking. For example we have Andy, Rhett and Maze. The DM’s say that Persephone was here as well and the rest we are going to try to identify this evening in Shark ID. Guests are having a blast!
