Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-10-04

Location: Guadalupe island, 29.08.04N – 118.17.00W
Status: sitting in 300Ft of water
Weather: light breeze coming from the south, today ocean is flat, air temperature is 70F, ocean is 69F

Today the visibility is about 50Ft and getting better, yesterday we moved from the first anchorage trying to find better waters as we were surrounded by murky water. Guadalupe is just recovering from the storm and going back to normal, this morning it took almost two hours before we saw our first great white shark. I was worried at first but then things changed for the better and the next few hours have been packed with loads of sharks. They are putting an amazing show on for the guests, sky partially cloudy. Today the Solmar V arrived and also we are sharing the sharks with the Islander and of course the Nautilus Explorer. Last night we did our taco fiesta, it all went very well.
