Captains Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-10-12

Location: Guadalupe island, 29.08.05N – 118.17.05W
Status: sitting is 250FT of water,
Weather: gusty winds from????? mostly NW but it shifts every minute

Some of the guests say we are having current but it really is the boat swinging to mother nature’s rhythm, visibility today is over 100Ft, outside the water the air temperature is about 68F and the wind makes you feel cold to the bone. This morning the wind was blowing 20-25 Knots then it calmed down but now is blowing hard again, ocean is a warm 70F degrees water. this morning cages were ready at 6:30 and at 6:35 there was no more spaces left, good thing is the sharks were there early and guests are going crazy with the action. I was in the submersible cages in the first dives and I could see four and up to five sharks at the same time. The action so far has been non stop, skies mostly blue with some clouds.
