Captain’s Noon Report – Under Sea – 2018-11-22

Location: Lat 19 34.0N Long 111 02.3W
Weather: NNE winds 10-12 kts, seas NNE 3-6 ft Clear suuny day. Air Temp 77F
Status: Underway to San Benedicto

We are about to arrive to the Boiler In San Benedicto 18 nm to go. Island is visible right now. Divers are anxious and exited to arrive and dive in one of the best places of Revillagigedo Islands and see giant mantas and a lot of different sharks. Everything is ready for our arrival; compressors, tanks are filled up, and all other dive gear, just need to anchor and bring the skiffs down. It’s been a nice ride despite the NNE winds that picked up this morning, but waves have been on our port quarter so boat movement has been gentle, not rough at all. Some guests are relaxing taking in the sun at the sundeck and some of them watching movies or reading books. Socorro animal presentation has been played this morning. We are planing to do 2 dives here and move to the Canyon to spend the night and dive there tomorrow morning.
