Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2018-11-25

Location: 28-23.2’N 115-11.5’W
Weather: winds light and variable, seas calm

We have had two great days of diving. Yesterday afternoon we did two dives at San Benitos. We saw loads of sea lion pups, some horned sharks, and guitar fish. There was some great kelp son the SE side as well. This morning we dove at Cedros. It was amazing. So many sea lion pups, we couldn’t even count them. Had a few playing with star fish and lobsters during the dives. Such a fun and inquisitive animal to dive with. Yesterday visibility was 40-50 ft, no current. Today visibility was 30-40 ft, minimal current, 20C. We are about to get underway to Sorocco islands with a short stop in Magdalena bay.
