Captains Noon Report – Gallant Lady – 2018-12-31

Location: La Reina, Sea Of Cortez
Weather: Winds 7 – 10knt Seas 1-3ft Vis 30 Water Temp 71f Sunny Skies

We Stayed the night at Carpenter rock. Wind died down along with the swell. Headed up to La Reina this morning. Not too bad conditions. Had multiple octopus and a sea lion sighting along with countless numbers of green morays with six in one hole next to the wreck. A few snowflake eels as well. Second dive we had a big male seal lion come by barking at us with octopus and a nice cluster of fish life with surgeon fish pecking at the reef and goat fish with some large groupers. Guests had two good dives today. Doing the afternoon dives here then headed to Las Frailes later. Guests and crew all happy!
