Captains Noon Report – Gallant Lady – 2019-01-01

Location: Cabo Pulmo, Sea of Cortez
Weather: Winds N 5 Seas Calm in Bay
Status: Water Temp 72f Vis 30 ft

The new year has started out very well. The Gallant Lady has arrived to the Nautilus fleet and is providing world class diving. Cabo Pulmo is a treasure to divers. The Sea of Cortez harbors such wonders and our divers were treated today to those. Just as our divers descended a massive bull shark swam underneath. Guests were guessing between 9 to 10 feet. As the divers settled to the bottom there were five large bull sharks swimming around them. There was juvenile sharks as well. The guests sat on the sand for the first 15 minutes just watching the main attraction to Cabo Pulmo. Big schools of fish were covering the reefs. On the surface the divers had several humpback whales coming up for air. This area is so rich with life everything seems alive. All the guests and crew are happy!
