Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-01-16

Location: En route to SW point san benedicto
Weather: winds N 10-15 swell nw 4-6 partly cloudy
Status:

We had some great dives yesterday afternoon, and a wonderful taco fiesta. This morning we moved over to the boiler for some diving. The divers were out of this world. First dive we had a pod of playful dolphins and 5 mantas. The mantas were getting jealous of all the attention the dolphins were getting, and kept getting between divers and dolphins. Then dive two we had 8 mantas, and another pod showed up there at the end. The second pod of dolphins had a calf with them. It started getting a little rough for this group, so we are in search of a more calm dive site. Stay tuned for more updates!
