The Swell is really dictating how our dives are going today. At the SW point there is a good wave break coming in large sets. It was a little rocky in the bay last night with a bigger WNW swell. First dive had about 30 foot of vis and there were a few hammer heads with a manta in the back ground. Galapagos and silver tips were at the edge of the receiver. Second dive the current was going to the east and brought all the stirred up particles with it. Vis dropped to a fuzzy ten feet. More silver tips at the cleaning station but vis put a bit of a damper on the dive. 35 minutes during the dive we were under the boat and had a big school of jacks were staying close to the boat with one silky sharks coming back and forth. I spoke to Captain TJ and he said there was ten foot swell at the Boiler hence the reason they came over to the Canyon. I am going to go peak around the east and see if we can get cleaner water at Red Bluffs. IF not then we will come back to Canyon to finish the day then head over to Socorro. All guests and crew are doing great!
