Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-02-06

Location: Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island
Weather: Wind NNE 10 – 12 Swell Calm In Bay Water Temp 76-78f Vis 60-80ft

Had a really nice silky snorkel last night and a calm night on the anchor at Cabo Pearce. Undersea came in last night around 2130 and Valentina at 0300. First Dive- one hammer head, some jacks and strong current to the north. Second Dive – Current changed and went south, first group had a large school off bonito, school of hammerheads and then a school of rainbow runners came through. Big morays and some flounders. Plenty of butterfly fish with Clarion angelfish give the water some nice colors.
