Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-02-15

Location: Anchored at Roca Partida
Weather: Clear skies with lots of sun. Sea temp 75 degrees, vis 100ft+

Lots of great action today, we are the only boat at Roca. Dive one saw a school of thousands of bonito and large tuna. Dive two was even better with a whale and her calf being sighted from the skiff less than 30m away! Also a group saw a huge school of hammerheads with one even coming within a few feet of the divers. Yesterday afternoon the whale hung around for a while and the guests got nice and close in the skiff. We’re hoping they’ll be back today as they but on a majestic show.
