Captain’s Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-02-17

Location:Anchored at Punta Tosca, inside cove
Weather:Winds N 12-15 kts, 6-8 ft swell. Sea temp 75 F Visibility ~85ft

Dives today have been good with the highlight being the dolphins swimming around our divers on the first dive within arms reach. Also divers saw a manta that hung around the whole dive, and one group saw hammerheads in the distance. The second dive no big creatures were sighted but the dive was easy and gave the divers a nice break from the harsher dives this week that had current. We are bringing the hook up and heading to the Navy inspection, doing our final dive at Cabo Pearce, then the silky snorkel.
