Captains Noon Report – Explorer – 2019-02-28

Location: Boiler, San Benedicto
Weather: Wind NW 8-10 Swell NW 2-4 Vis 50 – 80 ft Water Temp 78f

Nice sail from Socorro to San Benedicto last night. Boiler was a little bumpy this morning but calmed down right before the dive. One humpback whale breached 300 yards to the west of the dive site right as the first group arrived at the Boiler. Dolphins were already waiting for the guests. 3-6 dolphins were seen by most. Two mantas were around the guests for most of the dive. Getting more manta time in on the last day. Weather keeps getting better and so did the diving. Second Dive – Two to Four mantas swimming the entire time with the guests on the dive. Screaming and joyous songs from the last group coming back to the boat. All divers are happy. Going to the Canyon now and I know there is Gallant Lady, Quino and Undersea there already. Want to see if we can get a tiger or two in with hammer heads before we have a nice cheese and wine party tonight then depart back to Cabo. Things are good.
