Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-03-11

Location: Cabo Pearce, Socorro Island
Status: Anchored
Weather: Sunny skies, N wind on the point 15 knots with 3-4′ seas, 50-80′ visibility, 77 degree water

Yesterday at Roca Partida the wind mellowed as the day went on, giving us a beautiful sunset to compliment wine and cheese on the sundeck. After a mellow ride last night we find ourselves enjoying another day of great weather. Today the diving has been challenging but rewarding at times. 50-80′ visibility, 77 degree water and strong southerly current. One group on the first dive had a great dolphin encounter and all heard whale songs. On the second dive one lucky group had 20 plus hammerheads. All guests and crew happy.
