Captains Noon Report – Undersea – 2019-03-18

Weather: NNW winds 8-10 kts; NNW 2-3 ft Clear sky
Status: Water temp 24C Vis 80+ ft

We just dropped anchor at the Boiler. Arrived last night at San Benedicto the Canyon. Dove this morning at the canyon. In first Dive Visibility was great 100+ ft we easily saw Manta rock even this cloudy morning. No current, And 24C water temp. It was a good dive, divers saw at least one Manta, A lot of silkies and reef whitetips sharks, Galapagos, And few divers saw one hammerhead at the distance. On second dive Current increased to E moderate to strong, and vis decrased a little bit. This time a group of divers could saw a small school of 7 hammerheads + a small pod of 6 dolphins over the receiver. One of the groups had black Manta on their safety stop. Was two good dives. Now we are at the boiler to finish the day and have taco night tonight. Planing to depart to Roca Partida after dinner. All guests and crew are good.
