Absolutely amazing holiday on board the Nautilus Explorer. The diving here has lived up to every expectation, culminating in 6 Giant Mantas circling our dive group on the penultimate dive – breathtaking! In addition to the Mantas we’ve seen a huge variety of sea life including many different sharks – most impressive being the large Galapagos Shark.
Other notable sights were huge shoals of Jacks, enormous Yellow Fin Tuna, Wahoo, a variety of Morays and sightings of shadowy Hammerheads in the blue. Everywhere you look there is something fabulous to see.
We had a few glimpses of Humpbacks at the surface, and one of the dive groups was lucky enough to get a sighting underwater. My personal favorite was the dive site Roca Partida, with its terraces of sleeping White Tip Sharks all piled on top of each other. The variety and amount of life on this site was jaw dropping from the moment you dropped beneath the surface.

The islands themselves are breathtaking and on the last dive we got a tour around the rocks of San Benedicto in the rib with Captain TJ. I would definitely recommend getting up for sunrise – it’s stunning coupled with watching large Silky Sharks circling around the boat at dawn.

The holiday is made though by the amazing crew of the Nautilus Explorer. From day one they made us feel incredibly welcome and its plain to see how important it is to each of them that we had an amazing holiday. The Dive Masters are second to none – they are passionate about their work, knowledgeable, super friendly and helpful – they got the most out of every dive for us. Nothing is too much trouble, including leaking regs that DM Luis helped to fix.
The hospitality crew on the boat were amazing – we’re vegan and the chef, Enrique, did an amazing job catering for us, even down to Iris making a special batch of vegan cookies!
Can’t recommend this holiday enough – you are guaranteed an amazing time spent with a super crew! Thanks to all and hope to see you again in the future.

Best crew ever! After a variety of liveaboard trips I can honestly say that our crew on this sailing of the Nautilus Undersea has been the best through and through. Every crew member has been super friendly and helpful. Thank you Captain Adrian, Karen, Julio, Danny, dive masters Ramon, Awei and Juan, and our magnificent chef Felipe!!!

Yes! I enjoy diving with the dolphins! The giant mantas were awesome! One word to describe the Boiler: MANTASTIC!
