Captain’s Noon Report – Belle Amie – 2019-04-21

Location: Roca Partida – anchored in 230FT
Status: 18.59.33N – 112.05.15W
Weather: Beautiful skies with mix of whites and blues / 8Kts NW winds / Long swell 2 footer from the NW too / Water is clear (vis: 100ft) / Temperature averages 73F

The balconies on the East side are packed with White Tip sharks and sometimes a lobster comes along. The Cotton Mouth Jacks come in big schools. The first dive had a big school of Hammerhead sharks and divers claim 50 plus sharks in the school. The tunas are up to the hunt. Some divers were surprised to see Wahoos, others happy to see a Mobula out in the distance and the Galapagos seem to be up for a party as they are gathering in big groups. We had our taco night last night and guests loved it! All guests and crew doing well.
